GOLD construction CARD - SUPERVISOR
The technician and supervisor vocations are eligible for the gold card.
To apply for this construction card, you must have an NVQ or SVQ level 3 in a suitable occupation. Those without NVQ or SVQ level 3 credentials must apply using their experienced management badge. The Profiled Route, which is for highly skilled supervisors, was just introduced by construction.
Gold construction Card - Advanced Craft/Supervisory
If you have completed an approved indentured apprenticeship (e.g., with NJCBI, BATJIC, etc.) or an employer-sponsored apprenticeship that included earning a City and Guilds of London Institute Advanced Craft Certificate, you may be eligible for this card. You may also be eligible if you have achieved an NVQ or SQV level 3.
If you don’t meet these requirements but have expertise in your field, you can still apply for a skilled card (see Experienced Worker Card for more information).
The CITB Health, Safety & Environment Test is required of all applicants. Depending on your profession, you should take the operative or the specialist test for advanced craft vocations.
